~Humor Cards~

This morning I thought I would show you a couple more cards that I made this summer. One of our themes during the summer was humorous cards. I had to really think about what I wanted to do because I only have a few humorous stamps and I didn't want to use them. So here is what I come up with....
"I'm Sorry for what I said when I was HUNGRY!!"
How many of us get snippy when we are hungry and say things we didn't mean or know we didn't need to say? {Over here...pick me...pick me!!}
When I Googled humorous cards, this card is what came up the most...so of course I needed to have my shot at it....
"I've got your BACK!!" hehehe. Makes me laugh!

Well that is all I have for today....Thanks 4 stopping by!!

~Old, But NEW stamps to ME~

Good Morning!! So, I was over at a friends house a few weeks ago because she had gone through all of her card making things and wanted to get rid of a few stamp sets. So I took the opportunity to help  get me back on my feet & purchased $20.00 worth of stamps from her. I am so excited to start using them. Just trying to figure out what I want to use first & how I want to use them. Take a look at what I scored...
Here is a close up at all of them..
Super FUN for Valentines or just a LOVE note to my babes
This one I have always had an eye on. I LOVE how the flowers build the stamp.
This one is a bit blurry, but I LOVED the simplicity in this stamp. Tags can be built with this one.
How about this Home Sweet Home...The colors you can put into this set will be fun.
This one was purchased because of the "I Like You" sentiment.
What isn't to LOVE about this...so old school & fun.
These borders alone could make a fun card or tag.
See how much fun these hold. I LOVE me a good bargain to get the juices flowing again.

Now I would like to share with you a card  I  made at during the summer. I have a few of them to share with you, but I will just share one for now.
This is a Red, White, & Blue birthday card

~OMG...Time Got Away...Plus GIVE~A~Way~

The last time I posted was in Sept of 2013....WOW!! I have been meaning to post about what I have made the last few months, but time just kept slipping away. So many things have been going on over here on my end that has made me NOT want to post or even spend time in my craft room and CREATE.
Then I remembered why I started this blog...because it is my therapy for whatever comes my way & helps pull me out of my incoming depression. 4 years ago when I started this blog {as some of you already know} my mom passed away & I needed an outlet to help me stay connected to her & for me to keep my creativeness going. It has for sure been an off and on thing for the last 4 years & lately I NEED to be here in my room doing the things I LOVE again. My dad passed away this year, the day after fathers day & it was bitter sweet. I adored my parents & miss them everyday. My mom was crafty & my dad loved to cook & experiment with ingredients to make something else. I got something from the both of them; the LOVE of creating & the LOVE of cooking!
Thank You Mom & Dad for the things you have taught me...
{pictured above are my parents}

Today in honor of getting back into my room & the list I already have going of what I would like to get done {this post being one of them...check...} & create, I am giving away a few things to one LUCKY winner.

Here is all you have to do:
1: Leave me a comment on what your THERAPY is that makes you happy & helps with your everyday struggles. I would LOVE to hear what helps.
2: Go to our FB PAGE & tell us 1 thing you LOVE most in this give-a-way!!
GOOD LUCK to all of you...

~Tis the Season Card~

As you can see, I did not get around to the other cards I promised to show you this past weekend. {The joys of owning a restaurant} So since I have a few minutes before my son gets home from school, I thought I would share one with you now.
As you noticed, I was unable to do Christmas in July due to working so much & not having the energy to make cute cards. So since last months Card Class theme was do what you want, I made a Christmas card to get me pumped & my Christmas card list going to get things sent out in Nov. Anyone else that way? I just LOVE making Christmas cards over any other style card & maybe because Christmas is just so magical for me.
This card is measured as an 8 x 11 and the sentiment is on the inside...

~Happy Birthday...Post Card Style~

Good Morning!
I sat down this week & put a few cards together to share with you this weekend. The card I am showing you today is a simple put together Birthday card. What makes it so simple is that it is more of a post card style card than it is a normal card. You see the front & then flip it over & do your writing! I like cards like this because it is easier for me to display them on my fridge or up on my brag board. Do you have a favorite style?
Supplies:
PP: DCWV
CS: GP
Stamps: Art Impressions
Ink: Memories
