My husbands cousin just got married & I thought as a gift to her from us, that I would make her some "Thank You"  cards. I know that when I got married 12 yrs ago that I needed to send out thank you's to everyone & at the time bought the little cards that didn't have anything on them. In honor of NSD {National Scrapbooking Day}, I made a card since I will be working the whole entire day long & won't get to play in my room at all. For those of you who get that chance, enjoy it!!

This is a card that has a lot going on, but is still a simple card. This card uses some new stuff & old stuff. That is the nice thing about my room. I like to pick up a few new things to use along with what I already have. The heart die cut, is one of Sizzix old school cuts & the paper is from at least 3 years ago. But then I have the new stamp set & punch. So it all comes together nicely. 

Now onto the card...

~Our House~

Good Morning Friends!! 

Stopping by to share another card with you! This was the 2nd card for card club that was to be based off of a song. I LOVE the 80's era with all the music & when I seen that I had a couple sets of house stamps, I couldn't resist making a card with the song by Madness  called"Our House".

If you have heard it, you will know that the chorus says,

"Our house, in the middle of our street 

Our house, in the middle of our ..."

So I went with that & then turned it into a card that someone could give out if they just moved to a new house. Let me share with you my card...

~Sleigh Bells Ring...~

I have been working on a few cards this past week & it has been great! Something I have definitely  needed to keep my mind occupied & bring me back to what I LOVE doing!! Today though before I head to work, I am going to share just one. I know, I know, you read the title & your thinking...didn't we just finish with Christmas? Well with the weather still snowing & one can't be anymore prepared for this years Christmas cards, I made one. I also made this card because my card class theme this month was to find a song phrase & make a card.

~Purse Notes~

A few weeks ago, KFerrara & I got together & made a cute note set that you could carry around in your purse & I haven't had the time to post about it until this morning. This little notebook is made out of cardstock & I came across it's template on another site & thought, "how fun would this be to make?!"  It was so easy & KFerrara already gave hers away to a friend & she LOVED it!! {that is what we were going for} So without further waiting....

~Card Making with the Kids~

Yesterday after school my daughter wanted to do something & it was to make a card. So we sat in my room and started thinking about what kind of card we were going to work on.  Annabelle ended up working on a "Get Well" card.

 and I ended up working on a "I'm Here for You" card. 

Then Curtis come's home & he wants to make a "Get Well Fast" card {he came up with that by himself} for his guy friends...& here was his take on the cards...{which by the way...he was so proud of himself.} 

What a great afternoon spent with my kids!!
